SUSTAIN announced as Official Fuel Partner of the Chiltern Hills Rally

SUSTAIN fuels will be the sponsor of this year’s Chiltern Hills Rally, which takes place on 19th May in Aylesbury.

Advanced biofuel, SUSTAIN, includes second generation agricultural waste, such as by-products from forestry and food processing which would otherwise be left to rot. This recycled content provides a greenhouse gas saving compared to fossil fuels. Sustainable biofuels release the carbon dioxide captured by plants during their lifetime, effectively creating a cycle where they are absorbed and re-released. This is unlike fossil fuels which release ‘new’ gases into the atmosphere, which have been kept safe underground for many millions of years.

The brand released the first sustainable fuels to be publicly available in the UK last year, when SUSTAIN Classic went on sale at Bicester Heritage. Whilst this collection was designed to cater for the classic car market, it can also be used in any petrol vehicle and requires no alteration to the car or fuelling system. SUSTAIN Racing fuels cater specifically for the amateur and professional motorsport industry.

SUSTAIN will be present at the Chiltern Hills event, along with distributor Motor Spirit, which is based at Bicester Heritage. SUSTAIN Classic Super 80 fuel will be available to buy in 10L jerry cans from the stand. In the week before or following the event, if customers fill up with 20 litres of the fuel at Bicester Heritage, register with Motor Spirit and attend the event, they will get a free 10L jerry can of fuel.*

The Chiltern Hills Rally is a Classic and Vintage Vehicle show organised by a group of local volunteers to raise money for local charitable causes. The rally is a well-established annual event which enables the owners of classic and vintage vehicles to gather in the Buckinghamshire countryside.

David Richardson, Business Development Director at Coryton, the company behind SUSTAIN fuels, said: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring the Chiltern Rally, which is a much-loved event for car enthusiasts from near and far. We know how passionately people feel about their classic cars, and that’s one of the reasons we created SUSTAIN Classic, to help these vehicles to stay on the road for as long as possible, while minimising their impact on the environment. Our aim is to set up further distribution spots for the fuel over the coming months, so more people can access it and see how easy the switch is.”
